Location: Hybrid in Montevideo or Buenos Aires

What you will do
- Analyze transactional data to identify emerging fraud patterns and attack vectors.
- Design, test, and iterate rules that minimize fraud while safeguarding conversion and UX.
- Collaborate with Data Science to enhance features and refine model scoring thresholds.
- Own KPIs for key clients and industries, aligning fraud goals with their specific needs.
- Run A/B tests and backtesting to quantify the impact of rules and models.
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerts to track performance and false positives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fraud prevention or a closely related risk domain.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
- Proven experience with AI/ML applied to fraud or risk scoring.
- Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
- Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Montevideo or Buenos Aires.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Athena, or QuickSight.
- Automation mindset and experience with rule deployment pipelines.
