What you will do

• Own cloud and Kubernetes security, including IAM, RBAC, and GKE hardening across 10+ global clusters.
• Design secure-by-default platforms using policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno) to build infrastructure guardrails.
• Harden CI/CD and IaC pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform) and lead secrets management architecture.
• Build security-focused logging, monitoring, and runtime detection for behavioral anomaly detection across GKE workloads.
• Develop incident response playbooks and manage the SIEM to improve signal-to-noise ratios and automated mitigation.
• Maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and drive next milestones for ISO 27001 and GDPR data protection.

Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure security, cloud security, or security engineering, preferably in high-growth SaaS.
• Deep expertise in GCP and Kubernetes (GKE, workload identity, network policies, RBAC).
• Strong networking fundamentals, including VPC design, peering, and zero-trust segmentation.
• Hands-on experience hardening CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in Auth standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) and identity flow auditing.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR/PII data protection.

Nice to have

• Scripting fluency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and incident response.
