Frontend Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Building interactive AI-driven conversations, surveys, and knowledge checks for the Video Agents team with an accent on the core editor and video player. Focus on defining new AI agent interaction patterns, managing complex application state, and delivering end-to-end features.

Location: Must be based in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, or Ireland. Remote workers in other European locations may be supported subject to compliance and right to work checks.

Salary: Starts at EUR/GBP/CHF 130,000 base + RSUs

What you will do

• Build new agent types (surveys, quizzes) inside the editor for creator configuration and real-time learner interaction.
• Own features end-to-end from editor UI and app state to the final player experience.
• Develop within a large, complex React and TypeScript application.
• Collaborate with product and design to define and refine interaction patterns.
• Implement small backend changes in NodeJS to unblock frontend development.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of frontend engineering experience with TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency in NodeJS to handle full-stack feature delivery.
• Experience with large, complex web applications such as editors, design tools, or no-code platforms.
• Ability to independently own features from UI to state management and application logic.
• Familiarity with real-time interactions using WebSockets or live collaboration patterns.
• Must be based in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, or other European countries.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered features, agent interfaces, or LLM-integrated products.
• Proficiency in observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, or Grafana.
• Experience with complex state management in large-scale frontend applications.
