Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable Lakehouse and data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and reusable frameworks for diverse data integration.
• Implement data quality, validation, and transformation logic to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop dimensional and semantic models to support advanced BI and analytics.
• Build and maintain API integrations and services using C#.
• Tune SQL and Spark jobs for cost-efficiency and operational reliability.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or data warehousing roles.
• Production experience with Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for transformation and automation.
• Proven experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Must be based in one of the specified US states.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum team environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data systems or the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) domain.
• Proficiency in C# for API integrations.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Azure OpenAI, Claude, or Cursor.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or offshore teams.
