What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT transformation processes for reporting, analytics, and machine learning.
- Architect end-to-end data integration across systems, ensuring integrity, availability, and accessibility.
- Optimize pipeline performance and scalability while keeping cost-efficiency in mind.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to translate requirements into technical implementations.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on data engineering experience building large-scale cloud data solutions.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with Spark and data pipeline orchestration tools.
- Deep working knowledge of Azure services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse) and Databricks.
- Experience designing data lakes, warehouses, and analytical data models.
- Proven ability to optimize data systems for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions; mentoring or leading junior engineers is a plus.
