What you will do

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available networks using VPNs, VPCs, virtual networks, and load balancers.
• Provision and manage network resources across AWS, Azure, Cisco Meraki, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement network security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and compliance measures.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, optimize availability, and integrate cloud environments with office networks.
• Automate network operations through scripting and maintain backup, disaster recovery, documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders on incidents, maintenance, infrastructure projects, and continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting network infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Professional experience in IT, network engineering, and security engineering, including 3+ years in an L2 IT Support capacity.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and Layer 3 devices, particularly Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
• Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, VMware vSphere, terminal services, and SAN systems.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
• AWS or Azure certifications, including AWS Practitioner, SysOps, Solutions Architect, or relevant Microsoft credentials.
• ITIL certification and experience with HPE 3PAR SAN systems.
