Location: Permanent remote work with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time, Pasadena.

What you will do

• Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, compatibility, and installer testing for desktop applications.
• Validate application behavior across Windows 10/11, Intel-based Macs, and Apple Silicon Macs.
• Create test plans and test cases from specifications, walkthroughs, and hands-on exploration.
• Refine AI-generated test documentation by adding edge cases, improving expected outcomes, and optimizing coverage.
• Document actionable defects with reproduction steps, severity, priority, screenshots, logs, and environment details.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams through Microsoft Teams and GitLab on quality improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of manual QA experience testing desktop applications.
• Hands-on experience with both Windows 10/11 and macOS, including access to a Windows machine, an Intel-based Mac, and an Apple Silicon Mac.
• Strong knowledge of desktop testing methodologies, structured test plans, test cases, and detailed bug reporting.
• Experience with Windows Shell Extensions, Windows Registry, NSIS installers, macOS .app bundles, Info.plist, title-bar behavior, and .dmg packages.
• Experience testing productivity or business applications, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Microsoft Entra or OAuth authentication workflows, and AI or LLM-based chat applications.
• Strong written English, analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
