Location: Remote from Costa Rica; regular collaboration across global teams and time zones.

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on with the mobile DevOps roadmap.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS applications, covering build, testing, signing, and release automation.
- Own mobile delivery through Apple App Store and Google Play releases, including certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, and deployment.
- Improve pipeline reliability, security, monitoring, developer productivity, automation, quality gates, and secrets management.
- Partner with Mobile Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to resolve deployment challenges and establish engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Release Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including hands-on mobile application delivery.
- Production ownership of Android or iOS CI/CD pipelines through App Store or Google Play releases.
- Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience managing mobile signing infrastructure, secrets, release automation, Docker, and containerized build environments.
- Strong Bash or Python scripting skills and the ability to lead technical initiatives while working across engineering, QA, security, and product teams.
Nice to have
- Kubernetes, Helm, cloud-native platforms, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GKE experience.
- Familiarity with C#/.NET MAUI, LaunchDarkly, or AI-assisted developer tooling.
