Strategy Consulting Manager - VCA (Payments)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Identify consulting opportunities with banks, financial institutions, merchants, and other payments ecosystem players.
• Develop actionable solutions and insights that support client portfolio growth, profitability, and market share.
• Lead strategically important consulting engagements for clients in the Nordics and Baltics.
• Create growth, go-to-market, customer insight, and revenue optimization strategies for issuers, merchants, retailers, and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with sales, solutions, marketing, risk, innovation, product, and global teams.
• Deliver analyses, recommendations, project materials, templates, and storyboards that provide clear strategic direction.

Requirements

• Prior experience in management consulting or a similar role within banks or financial institutions.
• Strong strategic problem-solving skills and the ability to assess return on investment and business performance.
• Experience interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and turning insights into recommendations.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and data visualization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in a large consulting firm or corporate strategy environment, including proposal development and competitive analysis.
