Ruby On Rails Tech Lead

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, with 26 days of home office per quarter.

Salary: €50,000–€65,000 gross per year.

What you will do

• Lead and provide technical guidance to Ruby On Rails, React, and React Native developers.
• Architect, develop, and maintain complex Ruby On Rails applications.
• Collaborate with other departments to define requirements and deliver projects on time.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and complex engineering challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering successful Ruby On Rails projects.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
• Experience working with Docker containers.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Memcached or Redis.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
