Communication Specialist - Dance

Location: Elsbethen, Austria

Minimum salary: €2,362 gross per month; market-oriented compensation is significantly higher.

What you will do

• Develop and implement global media strategies for Dance network projects, including street dance and breaking.
• Manage projects from objectives and KPIs through timelines, budgets, milestones, and strategic partnerships.
• Create communication plans, story angles, and audience profiles across owned, earned, and managed channels.
• Collaborate with Channel Managers, Producers, Partnerships teams, editorial partners, media outlets, creators, and local markets.
• Support local activation of global projects by providing markets with guidance, best practices, and tools.
• Drive and oversee still image productions, evaluate performance, and optimize communication tactics using data-driven insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in communications, ideally in culture, entertainment, or creative projects.
• Experience developing communication strategies, media relations, PR, and content distribution.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with agencies, international stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent storytelling, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience creating impact within targeted communities and communicating authentically with artists, dancers, and creative communities.
• Fluent English required; German or other languages are a plus.
