What you will do

• Own the developer delivery path across local development, CI, deployment, production rollout, and validation workflows.
• Build and evolve shared libraries, service templates, internal platform capabilities, and paved-path workflows.
• Improve CI performance, capacity, reliability, runner health, workload placement, and failure isolation.
• Strengthen GitOps, rollout orchestration, self-service deployment tooling, and production recovery workflows.
• Operate and improve Kubernetes and cloud runtime infrastructure, including scheduling, node pools, access patterns, and reliability guardrails.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, and SRE teams to lead migrations and turn recurring platform friction into durable automation and tooling.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Scala, Java, Kotlin, or another production language.
• Experience owning developer platform or infrastructure systems such as build platforms, CI/CD, deployment tooling, internal developer portals, Kubernetes platforms, or cloud runtime infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of build and delivery systems, with familiarity with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Backstage, Bazel, or EngFlow.
• Ability to debug failures spanning application code, build tooling, CI runners, deployment systems, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading foundational migrations with rollout planning, risk management, communication, and adoption follow-through.
• Clear communication skills, product-minded platform judgment, and responsible use of AI tools with human oversight and safety guardrails.
