Location: Remote. Availability during some US Pacific business hours is preferred for team syncs.

What you will do

• Own the Hindi language resource end-to-end, managing annotation quality and auditing datasets.
• Evaluate TTS output to provide ground truth assessments of pronunciation, prosody, and naturalness.
• Update and expand annotation guidelines and rubrics to cover gaps and edge cases.
• Lead calibration meetings and provide structured, actionable feedback to annotators.
• Investigate language-specific issues reported by customers and identify root causes.
• Develop onboarding materials and resources for new language annotators.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Hindi.
• Strong foundation in linguistics, specifically phonetics, prosody, and intonation.
• Experience with data annotation, transcription, or language quality assurance.
• Strong written English proficiency for writing guidelines, feedback, and reports.
• Ability to work independently and manage feedback cycles without close oversight.
• Must be authorized to work in your country of residence.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio evaluation, TTS, or STT.
• Experience training or managing other annotators.
• Conversational spoken English proficiency for meetings.
• Experience working with distributed, remote teams.
