Machine Learning Fellow - Human Frontier Collective (AI)

Location: Fully remote, candidates must be authorized to work in Canada

What you will do

• Design, review, and optimize PyTorch models for real-world deep learning workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated machine learning code and implementations for efficiency and correctness.
• Advise on GPU optimization, system scaling, and technical trade-offs.
• Collaborate with partner AI labs and platforms on high-impact machine learning projects.
• Work with the research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.

Requirements

• PhD or postdoctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern machine learning frameworks, including PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Detail-oriented, innovative approach with a commitment to collaboration and applied AI research.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker and LangChain.
