What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve test automation frameworks and internal tooling using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Own the test ecosystem, including architecture, repositories, and long-term maintainability.
• Optimize CI/CD test pipelines (Jenkins) for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the testability of APIs, frontends, and data flows.
• Define and implement quality gates and metrics to ensure signal quality and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and promote a quality engineering mindset across the organization.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as an SDET or Quality Engineer focused on frameworks and tooling.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining test frameworks at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and CI/CD systems like Jenkins.
• Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and designing reusable testing layers.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience building internal developer platforms or test platforms.
• Deep expertise in the Playwright ecosystem (custom reporters, fixtures, parallelization).
• Experience with GraphQL testing tooling and schema-driven validation.
• Backend development experience, preferably with Node.js.
• Experience with Docker and ephemeral environments.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing and LLM-based tooling.
