What you will do

• Lead improvements in service reliability, scalability, and operational readiness throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Influence architecture and implementation decisions for large-scale cloud gaming services.
• Design platform-wide solutions and provide technical leadership during implementation.
• Define reliability KPIs and continuous improvement processes with SRE management.
• Mentor junior SRE staff and represent operational scalability and reliability across the organization.
• Lead small-scale projects from inception through implementation and support production operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development and/or Linux systems administration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency as a Linux production systems engineer managing large-scale web services infrastructure.
• Development experience with Python, Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust; Python is preferred.
• Experience with at least three areas including distributed storage, NoSQL, data aggregation, highly available RDBMS, monitoring and alerting, Kubernetes, AWS, software distribution, configuration management, or performance analysis.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with availability for on-call rotation.

• QA or SDET experience in software performance analysis and load testing.
