What you will do

• Receive, inspect, count, sort, store, distribute, and ship materials and supplies.
• Check incoming orders against requisitions and invoices and accurately record receipts and withdrawals.
• Maintain perpetual inventory and ensure prompt fulfillment of material requisitions.
• Order supplies, investigate vendor pricing, and expedite back-ordered materials.
• Use warehouse software to record stockroom transactions and direct invoices and credits to the correct accounts.
• Operate company vehicles and support material movement, facility activities, and maintenance work as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience receiving, distributing, and shipping materials in an industrial or central plant environment.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
• Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and maneuvering approximately 100 pounds.
