What you will do

• Design and implement identity infrastructure for secure authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.
• Build authentication systems using SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop ReBAC, ABAC, and RBAC authorization mechanisms and software-defined identity governance policies.
• Support compliance with NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and organizational security standards.
• Present technical concepts and advise engineering teams and stakeholders on identity management practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time engineering experience after graduation, with expertise in infrastructure and identity systems.
• Experience with IAM controls, infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi, and microservice deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience with OpenFGA, Authzed, Cedar, Topaz, or similar authorization frameworks at hirify.global.
• Strong knowledge of Zanzibar-based ReBAC models, relationship tuples, access-control evaluation, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and enterprise identity providers such as Entra ID or Okta.
• Experience developing software for distributed systems and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with a record of independently owning successful engineering projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience securing API access and implementing application-level access controls.
• Multi-cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other platforms.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with Java, Python, Node, or .NET applications.
