What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data migration from SAP ECC and SAP BW into AWS S3 and Databricks.
• Design, develop, and optimize standard and custom SAP extractors for datasets beyond ODP capabilities.
• Build and maintain SAP Data Services (BODS) jobs and workflows, ensuring reliable delta processing and error handling.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations between SAP Data Services and external platforms, including AWS S3.
• Validate migration quality by reconciling source and target data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Databricks Engineers and mentor other engineers within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SAP engineering, specifically in SAP ECC and SAP BW data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP BW data models and extractor design.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (BODS), including workflow design and datastore configuration.
• Proven experience in data migration validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience in mentoring and Agile ceremonies.
• Must be based in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, or Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS S3 or Databricks.
• Experience with RFC or ABAP-based data extraction.
