Senior Systems Engineer (Legal Systems)

Location: Must be based in Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Bellevue, WA. Additionally, must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, green card holder, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.

Salary: $182,000 – $242,000

What you will do

• Own the administration, configuration, and optimization of Ironclad CLM, including workflows, templates, approvals, and permissions.
• Design and maintain end-to-end contract workflows from intake and negotiation through execution and renewal.
• Build and support integrations between Ironclad and enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, procurement, and billing.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support contract visibility, compliance tracking, and operational insights.
• Manage system security, access controls, and data governance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement GenAI-driven automation to accelerate system migrations, data mapping, and legal support processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Legal Operations, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Legal Systems or CLM platforms, with hands-on experience in Ironclad strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes and legal operations workflows.
• Experience configuring workflow automation and using APIs for system integrations.
• Knowledge of GenAI-driven automation in a legal context.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible to obtain required export authorization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or procurement platforms.
• Experience with SOX, data privacy, and information security controls.
• Experience with automation tools or process optimization.
