TL;DR
Director, Forma Design Industry Strategy (AEC): Defining the strategy and go-to-market direction for Autodesk's Forma design applications across the built environment with an accent on customer outcomes, market opportunities, product direction, and AI-enabled insights. Focus on shaping portfolio investment, pricing and packaging, aligning senior stakeholders, and representing Forma with customers, partners, and industry leaders across European and US time zones.
Location: Oslo, Norway; the role must support both European and US time zones.

What you will do
- Define the strategy and go-to-market direction for the Forma design applications portfolio, including Forma Site Design and Forma Building Design.
- Use customer, market, competitive, and product data, along with AI-enabled tools, to develop strategic recommendations.
- Guide pricing, packaging, portfolio clarity, adoption, and investment decisions across planning, design, and delivery workflows.
- Lead and develop the Forma strategy team while establishing frameworks, briefs, and an operating rhythm for execution.
- Partner with product, sales, marketing, customer success, and industry leadership to align positioning, priorities, and roadmap decisions.
- Represent the Forma Industry Cloud externally with customers, partners, analysts, and industry events, bringing feedback into the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across strategy, go-to-market, product, or management consulting, including significant experience in or near the AEC industry.
- Proven record of leading teams and shaping strategy that delivers measurable business results.
- Deep understanding of AEC workflows and digital transformation opportunities across the built environment.
- Experience representing a product or company with customers, analysts, and at industry events.
- Strong command of data, AI-enabled tools, cloud platforms, and data-driven workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
