What you will do

• Conduct rigorous market intelligence and identify trends across Americas crude oil and physical markets.
• Produce clear, independent reports and actionable insights for clients.
• Support pre-sales activities and communicate market views to prospective clients.
• Build relationships with mainstream and specialist media through research, reports, webinars, and presentations.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to improve analytical tools and client offerings.
• Sustain and develop supply-demand models and data outputs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in crude oil markets.
• 3+ years of physical trading exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.
• Proven experience applying modeling techniques in commercial or research environments.
• Experience producing independent market analysis and working with complex datasets and advanced analytics tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global data or other cargo-tracking tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data science tools.
