Senior Asset's Illustrator (Freelance)

Location: Fully remote, collaborating with an international team across multiple locations.

Salary: $7.5–$75 per finalized illustration, depending on complexity.

What you will do

• Create cartoon-style illustrations for props, backgrounds, characters, and other elements for children aged 4–8.
• Follow visual guidelines and predetermined art styles provided by the Lead Artist and Supervisors.
• Convert 2D artwork into logical 3D turnarounds, including front, three-quarter, side, and back views.
• Produce high-quality vector and raster artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Prepare artwork for cut-out animation and maintain visual consistency across assets.
• Collaborate with a remote international team, implement feedback, organize stylistic details, and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience creating illustrations for children, preferably for kindergarten or preschool audiences.
• Strong illustration skills and the ability to follow a predefined art style for props, backgrounds, and other cartoon assets.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and vector-based workflows.
• Ability to create logical 3D turnarounds from 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of cut-out animation and artwork optimization for animation pipelines.
• English proficiency, proactive collaboration, reliability, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced feedback environment.
