What you will do
- Conduct multiple energy audits concurrently for facilities such as biomass plants and wind farms.
- Perform engineering and economic analyses of energy projects.
- Witness and inspect mechanical and electrical commissioning activities.
- Participate in UK-wide site visits, client meetings, and collaboration with external organisations.
- Progress into feasibility studies, design, specification, implementation, and grid connection support.
- Assist with marketing and tender initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
- Recent graduate or early-career engineer with 0β4 years of experience.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence; personal vehicle not required.
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English at C1/C2 level.
- Strong technical analysis, communication, organisation, time management, numerical, and report-writing skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of biomass, wind, solar, heat pumps, or battery energy storage.
- Understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
- Experience with load flow, short-circuit, or loss studies.
- Familiarity with DigSilent, PSCAD, ETAP, grid connection processes, UK Grid Code, FIT, or RO.
- Advanced Excel skills, ideally including VBA and Python.
