What you will do

  • Review fraud and AML cases to assess investigative accuracy, procedural adherence, and quality standards.
  • Identify quality gaps and deviations across KYC, fraud, and AML workflows.
  • Provide data-driven findings and actionable insights to Compliance and Operations teams.
  • Support continuous improvement, process standardization, and operational excellence across financial crime operations.
  • Contribute to training enablement through structured feedback and investigation-quality insights.
  • Adopt data and AI-assisted tools to improve case review and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience investigating KYC, fraud, and AML cases, including onboarding, due diligence, alert handling, case investigations, and SAR writing or filing.
  • University degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Criminology, or a related financial crime field.
  • Strong understanding of AML and KYC regulatory expectations, FATF recommendations, and relevant regional guidance.
  • Strong analytical, written, and communication skills, including experience with quality assessments, defect documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to clearly communicate investigative reasoning and collaborate with investigators and team leads.

Nice to have

  • 1–3 years of experience performing quality control reviews, peer assessments, or investigation-standard evaluations.
  • German, French, or Swedish language skills.
  • Experience with coaching, automation, AI-assisted analysis, SQL, CAMS, CFE, or project management.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and adapting to new typologies, systems, and regulatory changes.
