Strategic Account Manager

What you will do

• Build and expand relationships and stakeholder networks within strategic client organizations.
• Translate client business goals, industry trends, and challenges into new business opportunities.
• Lead portfolios of projects focused on developing or re-engineering IT systems, products, and services.
• Create account management plans and track engagements against account metrics and performance targets.
• Identify leads, support pre-sales activities, and participate in closing opportunities.
• Plan resources and coordinate account management and delivery teams throughout client engagements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, project management, or consulting.
• At least 3 years of experience working in service companies.
• Experience managing complex programs or product lifecycles and a portfolio valued at 8–10 million.
• Strong understanding of client organizations, business models, strategies, needs, challenges, and market trends.
• Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, methodologies, modern technology, and software architecture.
• Experience working with multinational distributed teams and willingness to travel to UK client offices when required.
