Manager for Software QA Department (Defence)

Location: Aarhus C, Denmark; up to 5–10 travel days per year to the Bucharest office. Security-classified projects require a clean criminal record and seven years of residence in a NATO and/or EU country.

What you will do

• Own QA responsibility for a defence product programme and lead its QA team.
• Drive and develop test frameworks and QA strategies focused on product quality and scalability.
• Oversee system-test planning and execution to validate end-to-end functionality.
• Create a roadmap for continuous test improvements and manage QA planning, reporting, and progress.
• Collaborate with Directors, Managers, Architects, project teams, and the QA Programme team.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of QA Engineers while building the required competencies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or test management.
• Experience in project management, team management, and delivering successful software projects.
• Proven ability to build quality into software products from concept through release.
• Solid understanding of software development, testing, and release processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical or scientific discipline.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required.
