What you will do

• Build and ship production-quality platform infrastructure software, including backend services, automation tools, provisioning systems, and test systems.
• Develop device identity and security infrastructure spanning secure boot, disk encryption, device attestation, and cloud enrollment.
• Implement key management infrastructure and certificate lifecycle tooling to ensure trusted software runs on trusted hardware.
• Collaborate with firmware, applications, cloud, manufacturing, systems, and operations teams across global offices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for research, iteration, feedback, coding, and testing.
• Own deliverables while developing platform engineering expertise alongside a senior engineer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language: Python, C/C++, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Proficiency with AI tools for research, development, iteration, feedback, and testing.
• Comfort working in Linux environments and strong computer science fundamentals.
• Ability to work on-site at the San Diego office.
