Senior DevOps Build/CI Engineer

hirify.global is an international IT company founded in 2011, specializing in high-load software development and providing technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide.

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Toolchain Engineer, you'll be hirify.global's expert on processes and tools that empower development teams. You will lead improvements, support the evolution of code creation tools, and manage the systems for building and deploying software artifacts. This role involves extensive interaction with Software Development and Automation/Infrastructure teams.

What you will do

• Streamline the software development toolchain.
• Plan and implement incremental improvements to the toolchain.
• Serve as a key contributor to the development toolchain roadmap.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hirify.global's development departments.
• Coach teams on processes and tools.
• Ensure security and auditability throughout the toolchain.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proven system administration experience in heterogeneous environments (Windows / Linux with RPM).
• Scripting skills (bash, powershell, python or other).
• Strong understanding of code versioning, semantic versioning, merge conflicts, and branching strategies.
• Experience in at least one major build and packaging system and CI/CD setup.
• Excellent knowledge of git.
• Able to communicate properly in English (both verbal and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with container-based deployment workflows.
• Experience with different build and packaging systems and dependency management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps stack, Jfrog Artifactory, SonarQube, Sentry.
• Strong systems engineering background.
