What you will do

• Develop and deploy production-grade ML systems and Generative AI applications such as chatbots and agents.
• Build and optimize ML pipelines and MLOps workflows to improve scalability.
• Implement traditional ML solutions for time series forecasting, AdTech, and computer vision.
• Collaborate with and receive mentorship from senior engineers to deliver high-impact AI projects.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or AI.
• Proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals (OOP, Git, concurrency).
• Understanding of LLM system design, including RAG and agents.
• Knowledge of ML system design, including training and inference techniques.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Legal residence in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience in non-academic projects, such as internships or previous jobs.
• Previous experience with LLM projects (academic or professional).
• Exposure to AI features in cloud platforms like Sagemaker, Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
• Experience working within large codebases.
