Lead DevOps Engineer (CircleCI)

Location: Hybrid, Singapore. Applicants must hold valid working rights in Singapore at the time of application; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and execute production deployments, maintenance windows, emergency releases, and rollback procedures.
• Share production deployment ownership with the US-based Platform Engineering team to provide global operational coverage.
• Design reusable deployment frameworks, standardized workflows, and self-service deployment capabilities.
• Lead CI/CD modernization initiatives using CircleCI and related technologies.
• Improve release reliability, deployment frequency, engineering productivity, and operational safety through automation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Software Engineering, SRE, QA, Product, Release Management, Architecture, and Security teams.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build and Release Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and supporting automated production deployments in cloud environments.
• Deep expertise building enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Ansible, plus artifact repository experience such as JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with Git workflows, release management, deployment automation, and release orchestration.
• Strong scripting or programming skills with Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages, along with effective communication and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, AWS services, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience integrating DevSecOps capabilities such as SAST, SCA, DAST, SBOM generation, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
• Experience improving engineering productivity and DORA metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
