TL;DR
ICFR Intern (Finance Controls): Supporting finance process optimisation, internal control framework mapping, control testing, risk assessment, and audit coordination with an accent on financial reporting controls, documentation, and finance risk management. Focus on testing control design and operating effectiveness, coordinating audit sample requests, and tracking audit findings.
Location: Milan, Italy — onsite at Piazza degli Affari 6. The internship starts in November 2026.

What you will do
- Support optimisation of the corporate information system and improvement of finance processes and procedures.
- Map finance processes, procedures, documentation, and the internal control framework.
- Test and monitor the design and operating effectiveness of finance controls.
- Support the annual finance risk assessment with the group risk team.
- Participate in internal and external audits by coordinating sample requests and tracking findings.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, or a related field, or currently studying toward one, with a focus on control, risk management, or compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proactive, logical approach to problem solving and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation, build partnerships, and challenge third parties to find suitable solutions.

- Familiarity with Power BI.
