Senior Accountant (EMEA)

Location: Frascati, Italy

Salary: €50,000–€60,000 gross annual salary, based on experience and seniority.

What you will do

• Prepare trial balances and supporting documentation for financial statements, corporate income tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, and audits.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory reports, tax returns, and fiscal declarations across the EMEA region.
• Manage compliance with VAT, withholding tax, Intrastat, and other local tax obligations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, local consultants, auditors, and regional and global accounting teams.
• Participate in process improvement, automation, standardization, and ad hoc financial compliance projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or compliance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting, local tax legislation, corporate income tax, VAT, and statutory reporting under IAS principles.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft tools, including Excel.
