What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize firmware for prototypes, new features, and new product certification processes.
• Lead R&D initiatives targeting improvements in test process yield and test time.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented firmware in C and software solutions in Python.
• Analyze test data to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and execute test plans for validation, reliability testing, and compliance verification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to mass production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in C and Python programming languages and data analytics tools.
• Engineering development experience in the hard disk drive (HDD) industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HDD cert test process engineering concepts.
• Experience with data analytics tools and statistical analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly.
