What you will do

  • Design and develop consumer products from initial concept through to ongoing product support.
  • Write and document code, primarily in C, for functional prototypes and final product launches.
  • Analyze product requirements to plan and estimate firmware activities, including coding, debugging, and testing.
  • Develop firmware specifications, flowcharts, and inter-processor communication protocols.
  • Execute unit test plans and collaborate with system test teams to ensure high-quality design.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technologists within the Embedded Systems group.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in firmware development (coding, debugging, and testing).
  • Strong proficiency in C and ASM.
  • Practical experience with heating and motor control.
  • Knowledge of embedded system architecture and microprocessor principles (e.g., ST, TI, Sonix).
  • Must be based in Shenzhen, China

Nice to have

  • Experience with C++, Python, and leveraging AI tools for development.
  • Experience with touch keys, TFT displays, and Bluetooth (BT) development.
  • Proficiency in GCC and CMake.
