Salary: $182,000 - $242,000

What you will do

• Lead a team of full-stack and infrastructure engineers to optimize the Weave observability platform for enterprise clients.
• Optimize high-scale ingest volumes and data processing across all major cloud platforms.
• Monitor and optimize single-tenant and customer-managed deployments.
• Establish and enforce SLAs/SLOs for service availability and data readiness.
• Partner with Sales and leadership to align technical direction with customer needs and enable new deals.
• Drive roadmap execution, hiring, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 1–3 years as an engineering manager.
• Experience shipping enterprise software at scale, including on-premise and single-tenant deployments.
• Strong grasp of service availability, performance metrics, SLAs/SLOs, and incident response.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export control regulations.
• Located in the San Francisco Bay Area and available for hybrid office attendance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern data stack technologies such as ClickHouse, Kafka, or Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in the MLOps or AI observability space.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment during rapid growth.
