What you will do

• Design and document formal test plans and procedures using automation tools.
• Execute test plans, record results, and maintain a known issues database in JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and product specialists to reproduce and investigate defects.
• Automate a majority of test plans to improve verification efficiency.
• Perform debug and troubleshooting, leading Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
• Verify that all acceptance criteria are met per product specifications and internal processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of Test Automation experience with software, firmware, and hardware.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python.
• Experience designing and qualifying test fixtures during the development phase.
• Experience with test instrumentation such as function generators, scopes, and analog voltage tools.
• Experience using AI tools in an engineering context.

Nice to have

• Experience with industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus), Ethernet systems, and SCADA practices.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Experience in product development for industrial and utility customers.
• Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.
