Senior GCP DevOps Engineer (GCP)

TL;DR

Senior GCP DevOps Engineer (GCP): Designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform with an accent on automation and CI/CD pipelines. Location: Must be located in Hawaii and be able to work until approximately 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM HST.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes.
• Monitor production environments and lead troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline application releases and cloud operations.
• Enhance cloud security, access controls, logging, and operational standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or comparable cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to script using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Must be located in Hawaii and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and disaster recovery.
• Google Cloud or other relevant cloud certifications.
