Salary: $180,000–$240,000

What you will do

• Architect and maintain the multi-cloud control plane for AI agent workflows.
• Design critical guardrails and orchestration layers for production-ready AI systems.
• Lead technical reviews and establish coding patterns across a large codebase.
• Drive cross-team initiatives from initial problem definition to measured outcomes.
• Manage operational architecture including on-call, observability, and SLOs.
• Develop full-stack vertical slices using React and TypeScript when required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
• Deep expertise in at least one object-oriented language (Java, Go, or C++).
• Proven experience designing distributed systems with real-world consistency and availability tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with AI-coding practices and prescribing logic to AI agents.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with all three major cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Netflix Conductor or Temporal.
• Background in chaos or performance engineering.
