What you will do

• Support dilution refrigerator cooldowns and warmups, including system preparation, payload installation, and monitoring.
• Perform resistance measurements, microwave systems trace collection, and basic quality checks.
• Accurately record cooldown data, system configurations, and state changes in LabOpsHub.
• Execute first-pass troubleshooting and routine maintenance of laboratory infrastructure.
• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure payload readiness and laboratory throughput.
• Help establish Florida lab operations by documenting workflows and improving procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of practical hands-on technical experience with laboratory instrumentation or experimental hardware.
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in documentation and following procedures.
• Willingness and ability to temporarily relocate to Burnaby, BC, Canada for up to 180 days.
• Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel across North America and Europe.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Degree or technical diploma in engineering, physics, or a related field.
