What you will do
- Lead execution of complex technical projects from concept to production, maintaining high standards for performance and reliability.
- Review and improve architecture by identifying opportunities to simplify code and infrastructure with measurable business impact.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate workflow, improve code quality, and focus on high-level logic and unconventional problems.
- Mentor and coach peers by raising the technical bar through PR reviews and architectural guidance.
- Partner with product and design to ensure delivery of the right solution for users.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with or strong desire to learn Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka.
- Ability to break down complex user stories into actionable tasks and execute with minimal guidance.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs and the “why” behind code to stakeholders.
- Experience with or desire to learn Java, gRPC, and AWS.
