SW Verification Engineer (Automotive)

TL;DR

SW Verification Engineer (Automotive): Performing functional verification of complete electrical systems within the SW Verification team for EU cars with an accent on integration testing and software debugging. Focus on executing test cases, developing verification methods, and coordinating with software and hardware engineers to resolve vehicle-level issues.

Location: Must already be onsite in Sweden and have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden

What you will do

• Run directed and exploratory test cases, analyze results, and debug software failures in SWIM systems.
• Create verification test methods and update test environments using test vehicles.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and test leaders to identify and fix vehicle-level issues.
• Coordinate with international teams, specifically the team in China.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in automotive and integration of embedded systems.
• Proven experience in integration and functional domain testing within vehicles.
• Swedish B-Driver’s license and experience driving automotive tests.
• Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer and Jira.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Strong test analysis skills and a genuine interest in cars.
• Cultural awareness, specifically regarding China–European business culture.
• Availability for travel to China.
