TL;DR

What you will do

  • Support customer-facing stakeholders by clarifying contract terms, providing updates, improving service delivery, and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Prepare, review, sign, organize, and update customer contracts while helping internal teams follow contractual responsibilities and timelines.
  • Support pricing and payment terms and ensure commercial agreements comply with company policies and Japanese law.
  • Investigate customer claims related to product quality, delivery, and service, coordinating with technical, supply chain, and legal teams through resolution.
  • Track claims, resolution times, and customer feedback; prepare management reports and support audits and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical service, supply chain, and legal teams in Japan and other hirify.global markets.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in customer service, contract management, or commercial operations.
  • Working knowledge of the Japanese Civil Code, Commercial Code, and standard Japanese contract practices.
  • Strong written and spoken English required.
  • Experience working in international or cross-cultural settings.
  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and experience reviewing contracts under legal guidance in a multinational company are preferred.
