AI/ML System Architecture Lead (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Lead the Hamburg AI Systems team and drive technical execution of AI Systems projects.
• Evaluate and define AI/ML architectures for target products, balancing customer requirements with performance, power, area, and cost constraints.
• Develop, review, and maintain AI/ML architecture specifications, requirements, and technical documentation with SoC, system, and software architects.
• Model, evaluate, and prototype AI use cases on current and future NXP platforms.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and select AI IP and technologies with global AI Systems teams.
• Represent AI Systems initiatives in customer, partner, industry, publication, and conference activities when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field; an MSc is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in relevant technical fields, including technical team or project leadership.
• 3–5 years of practical AI/ML experience, preferably in mixed hardware-software environments.
• Experience with AI system architecture, embedded systems, SoC development, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams and lead and mentor engineers.
