What you will do

• Define optimal AI/ML architectures for target products, balancing performance, power, and cost.
• Collaborate with SoC and System Architects to create and maintain architecture specifications.
• Lead prototyping and modeling of AI use-cases on current and future platforms.
• Manage internal and third-party AI IP evaluation, benchmarking, and selection.
• Represent the AI IP & Solutions team in external partnerships, consortia, and open-source ecosystems.
• Promote NXP’s Edge AI leadership through industry forums and technical publications.

Requirements

• MSc in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science (PhD is a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in related fields.
• 5+ years of practical AI/ML experience, preferably in mixed HW-SW environments.
• Proven innovative and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle security-related tasks and work within certification scopes.
