What you will do
- Design, deploy, and manage networking platforms in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security compliance across the infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents and serve as a primary escalation point.
- Collaborate with Architects and Consulting partners to drive continuous optimization.
- Manage configurations, software updates, and vulnerability mitigations for network devices.
- Develop operational procedures and documentation for Disaster Recovery scenarios.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in network security and enterprise environments.
- Proven experience managing production environments with autonomy and ownership.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and HPE networking hardware.
- Experience with Firewalls (Checkpoint, PaloAlto) and Load Balancers (F5).
- Must be based in Roma, Italy to support the hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Cisco CCNP certification (strongly preferred).
- Cloud networking certifications from any hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, CheckMK, or Gigamon.
