What you will do

• Develop and test middleware solutions for connecting production equipment, robotics, and process control systems.
• Create communication interfaces using OPC UA, REST APIs, MQTT, and PLC protocols.
• Support the networking and integration of injection molding machines with data platforms and dashboards.
• Implement motion sequences and control logic for humanoid robotic systems and industrial manipulators.
• Assist in the integration and optimization of AI models, including LLMs and computer vision pipelines.
• Analyze and visualize machine process data to support operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Must be based in or able to work from Melsungen, Germany.
• English proficiency required; German language skills are an advantage.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a structured working style.

Nice to have

• Practical experience in robotics, motion control, or robot programming.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2.
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal or industrial automation systems.
