Data Capture Technician

Location: On-site in Plymouth, Cardiff, or Newport, United Kingdom, with work across construction sites in London and Manchester.

What you will do

• Operate 360-degree cameras and surveying equipment to capture comprehensive construction-site data.
• Document and communicate construction progress on-site.
• Follow safety protocols and protect personal, site, and equipment safety.
• Collaborate with the Project Team and adapt capture methods to project requirements.
• Work across multiple active construction sites, including sites in London and Manchester.

Requirements

• Part-time availability for at least one full daytime shift per week, typically 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Valid CSCS card required before the first on-site day. Support is available to complete the training if not already certified.
• Steel-toed safety boots and full PPE are required on active construction sites.
• Ability to walk 20,000+ steps per day, work outdoors in varying weather, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Flexibility, a problem-solving mindset, and ability to work effectively with a project team.

Nice to have

• Previous fieldwork experience and technical orientation.
• Background in surveying, photography, or construction.
