What you will do

• Develop reliable and scalable tools and frameworks to support Autonomous Vehicle (AV) development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Engineers and Researchers using an AI-first approach.
• Lead technical and architecture discussions to enable safe self-driving at scale.
• Mentor other software engineers through code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Assist in task planning and estimation.

Requirements

• MS/PhD or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of industry experience developing production-quality software.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Rust.
• Experience working in a team environment on a common codebase.
• Must be based in or able to work in Toronto, ON (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience programming in C++ for real-world robotic systems.
• Comfort with Linux/Unix environments, Docker, and git workflows.
• Background in robotics or machine learning.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, parallel computing, and system architecture.
