What you will do

• Design and implement scalable AWS architectures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Lead threat modeling and code review exercises for new features and complex architectures.
• Manage edge network defenses, including WAF, DDoS mitigation, and API security.
• Embed automated security testing directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive vulnerability management across containerized and serverless cloud-native stacks.
• Mentor developers and DevOps engineers on secure coding and cloud security fundamentals.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevSecOps.
• Strong technical proficiency with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Deep expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless environments.
• Proven track record managing edge security platforms, specifically Cloudflare.
• Working knowledge of financial services compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Sydney.
