What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts in an inclusive environment.
• Translate complex business challenges into practical AI, machine learning, and statistical solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy scalable data products to support strategic decision-making across the group.
• Analyze large-scale network datasets to improve efficiency, performance, and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Communicate technical findings through data storytelling, visualization, and clear recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience applying ML, AI, and statistical techniques to solve real-world business problems.
• Hands-on expertise in Python and modern data science techniques.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and analytics.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams.
• Ability to work hybridly from London, Birmingham, Ipswich, or Belfast offices.

Nice to have

• Experience within large, complex, or regulated organizations.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, networking, or broadband infrastructure domains.
• Experience operationalizing ML solutions in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills for senior audiences.
